Old school? - Guild Wars Forums

Hey

I'm a bit confused about the affect "old school" (un-insc) has on items.
Some items which are "old school" are worth considerably more then one wich is inscribable, but some items, which still have rare skins, people wont even consider buying. Can anyone tell me what is up with that?

just difference in rarity. people want to brag that their weapon is more rare than the next guy's weapon
